Contacts
Parents choosing to leave their child/ren for the duration of the session should be contactable in case of emergency. 2 further emergency contact details must also be provided.
Damages
Wear and tear resources of consumable items does not constitute 'damage'. Any and all willful damage or destruction of resources and consumables will need to be paid for by the parent/carer to enable Boodle Books to replace broken equipment.
Lone Working
Boodle Books is a small company ran by an individual.
Expected Behaviour
Child/ren are expected to show mutual respect at all times. NO bullying or distractions will be tolerated. A child who demonstrates these behaviours can be asked to leave the session and may be prevented from attending future session. Boodle Books will not tolerate abusive language from any party. Intimidating and abusive conduct will result in Boodle Books cancelling all sessions without issuing a refund.
Duty of Care
Boodle Books maintains a duty of care towards your child. This includes ensuring DBS checks are complete and available to inspect; completing DSL Safeguarding Training and Paediatric First Aid. Completing accident records and risk assessments of the environment. Boodle Books cannot take responsibility for your child if they leave the allocated room.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance. 'No Shows' will not be eligible for a refund and will not be able to rearrange the session. Boodle Books will allow a degree of flexibility to include illness and unforeseen events.
